Kechrinia
Kechrinia is a village that situated 11km southeast of the Amfilochia. It is structured in height almost 380m above the sea surface , in the roots of a mountain named Petalas.

Kechrinia's village has got 750 residents. It is a small picturesque village with many stone-made houses. Also, it has got a school. Furthermore, there are some coffee-houses that many residents go at night to relax and to forget their daily problems, albeit the night life of the village isn't intense.
The main occupation of the residents is the cattle raising. They bring up goats, pigs, sheep and cows. In addition to this, Kechrinia is known for its meat.

There are two churches on the village , the church of S.Vissarion that is located in the central square and of S.Ioanni . However there are some country churches such as S.Ilias and S.George.

Also, the village is surrounding from trees and espacially cypresses and evergreen oaks ,them make it exciting.

Kechrinia, also has got its own football team that named Omonia Kechrinias.

HISTORY.
Almost 4km from the village of Kechrinia there are exist the ruins of ancient city of Belichriniassa. Important archaeological monuments is the circular cistern and the ruins of fortress Glas.
Recently, a vaulted Mycenaean tomb discovered that dates between 1400-1100 BC.
