Ambelaki is
about 12klm N-E of Amfilochia. It’s mountains location offers each visitor the
chance to enjoy the panoramic view of Ambelaki’s plain and Amfilochia’s bay in
the Amvrakian gulf. Ambelaki with its altitude of 280m locates 93klm N-S of
Mesologgi. Aitoloakarnanias capital city. It also consists of the settlements
of Cabes,Ariada,Keramidi and Amfilochiko Argos with an overall population of
about 1000 residents. In fact only 250 of them live permament in the village.

Most
residents of Ambelaki are farmers or livestock and only a small amount of them
run their own businesses. As far as women are concerned they use to stay home
and help with the household chares or the raising of their children. Many of
them also help their husbands with their country occupations.
When there is free time men use to hang out with
their colleagues in the local cafeterias. Children and young people in general
usually go for walk in the suburbs or spend their time talking in the square
and having fun with their peers. The younger ones often enjoy playing games in
the playground or in the yards of their houses.

same small country churches and the river of Fteroula there isn’t any
historical sight in Ambelaki.
